It’s the last week of school, and on Monday all of Beauvoir was decked out in green and white to celebrate our graduating Third Grade class! We are so proud of all that our third graders have created, explored, and learned during their time at Beauvoir.
And speaking of exploring… Monday was also Third Grade Fun Day! This year, Fun Day became the 2018 Epic Race, where students in groups of eight or nine received “clues” from parent volunteers taking them to different locations around the Cathedral Close, such as the Bishop’s Lawn, Olmsted Woods, and the Amphitheater. At each location, the teams were asked to perform a challenge, drawing on their knowledge of subjects studied during their time at Beauvoir. At the end of the race, the winning team had first choice of ice cream sandwich flavors at the festive lunch held on the Cathedral Library lawn.
Check out a few moments from the day – and thank you to all the students, faculty, staff, and parents who are making our final school year moments so special.
