Morning Message for January 23

Dear Students,

Welcome back from the long weekend! I hope you were able to honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by serving others. How did you share your love? Starting this week, our librarians, Mr. Hurst and Mrs. Simpson have selected some special books below to share the life of Dr. King and the important messages of peace and unity that he shared. Please take a look!

Your teachers and staff members have also been sharing some special messages with me while you were away. I asked them a series of questions this week about YOU! Each time they used the same words to describe you, their words grew bigger, and bigger, and bigger!

This type of picture is called a Word Cloud. Why do you think it was named this way? Can you tell which of their answers were the most popular by looking closely at the picture on the right? Now it is my turn to ask you, “I wonder what makes you smile?”

Love, Mrs. Gibbs-Wilborn

When you think about our Beauvoir students, what makes you smile?
