Morning Message for February 10

Dear Beauvoir Friends,

I hope you had a great weekend. I recently learned about some children just like you who have heroes that they wanted to emulate.

EMULATE means to imitate, and I think that they chose to emulate them because they demonstrated one or more of our Life Rules.

Read their bios below and see if you can tell which one (or two, or three, or four) Life Rules their heroes may have practiced!

Love, Mrs, Gibbs-Wilborn

Archbishop Desmond Tutu is the first Anglican bishop in Cape Town, South Africa. He was born in 1932 and he is a social activist who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1983 for his work fighting apartheid in South Africa. Apartheid means “apart-hood” and is the practice of keeping people apart from each other based on their differences.
